This week in the Media Center

I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend!

The bookfair went well and you can still order online until February 28th!  Just go to: Verda Dierzen book fair
and you can order some more new books!  

In the Media Center this week, with the kindergarten classes, we will be talking about Presidents.  I can read either Just Like Abraham Lincoln, or George Washington's teeth.  We will then write about what we would do if we were the President.  
Some classes are right in the middle of our Mo Willems author study.  We are using the Super 3 Method of research.  It basically has 3 parts:  Plan, Do, Review.  It's not too late for your class to join us!
The third option is learning about fiction and nonfiction books, and where they are located in the library.  I have been reading about penguins, but I could do other animals as well.

For PreK, I will be reading about playing with our friends.  I will read, Come out and Play or Join in and Play.  This is to go with your Second Step lesson this week.
